“May we never lose our wonder”
These lyrics from Bethel music have been playing in my head.
In times of doubt, confusion, instability, insecurity, it’s easy to forget WHOSE we are.
We can be so blinkered by our circumstances and concerns, it’s hard to see beyond the immediate.
The sun has a diameter more than 100 times that of the earth yet you can block it completely out of view with something as small as a coin!
We can allow our penny’s worth to block out the immensity of our God.
The Creator of Heaven and Earth.
The Lord of All.
The King of Kings.
Prince of Peace.
“Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.” Isaiah 9:7 NIV
“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?” Isaiah 40:12 NIV
“But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.” Psalm 33:11 NIV
“to him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:4 NIV
“He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” Job 5:9 NIV
“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” Psalm 40:5 NIV
“May we never lose our wonder“.
Look to the Son.
